How did it come about?

AFK was born from being addicted to World of Warcraft. It's a hugely immersive, massive environment where your character can interact with others all over the world.

Peter Haynes (Director/Writer) had an idea that wouldn't go away. He started with creating a trailer, that lead to a pilot, that lead to a successful Kickstarter campaign, that brings us to launching it 6 November 2015. We want to thank everyone who has gotten us so far. Everyone who's worked on this have day jobs, and are helping out when they can - and we are completely appreciative of this too. We will endeavour to keep everyone informed as much as possible. Thank you all!
